Tina - St. Augustine

This past weekend was super fun. Saturday morning I headed over to my favorite beach...ST. AUGUSTINE to style Tina's hair for her big day! I was greeted at 5:30 am by her sweet in laws at a gorgeous beach house over looking the ocean. As the sun came up I met all of her incredibly nice bridesmaids and before 10am... I got Tina and her girls all set to stroll down the aisle.

I really enjoyed getting to know Tina over the past few months. She truly has a heart of gold. I'm so glad I got to be a part of her special day and I look forward to hanging out with this jewel of a person in the future!! :)

Oh my heavens.... this is one of the sweet flower girls! She was adorable. All morning I kept thinking to myself "....ah, I have a sweet little girl at home!... I have one of those!" :)

My Newest Client

On August 30th 2010 at 8:07pm, Hailie Ruth Heinrich was born. She is such a sweet heart, and a happy smiley baby! I absolutely LOVE being a Mommy. I already enjoy playing with her hair...even though there isn't much to play with quite yet. Hailie has quite a collection of bows from my super talented friend Torie Bartee. Torie now designs adult hair accessories and really unique jewelry. Make sure to check her out!!

Amber and Nick

I had the pleasure of styling a beauty over in Clermont this summer! Amber married my husband's cousin Nick in a beautiful little ceremony by the lake. Nick and Amber have the cutest little boys and they are some of the nicest people on the planet. I was honored to be a part of their big day! I'm also very lucky to call them family!

Brandy Burridge Boudoir aka Super Hott Hair!

I have had the awesome opportunity to help out Brandy Burridge Photography with a few Boudoir sessions over the past year. I have to say that I almost can't sleep the night before I style hair for one of these shoots; they are so much fun... SO glamorous! We have a blast every time we spend a day getting ladies of every shape and size all dolled up to give the gift of beautiful (tasteful) pictures for their significant others! Courtney and Kevin

When I met my husband Chad over 5 years ago, all of these wonderful people flooded into my life. I have had the pleasure of being around Courtney and Kevin at get-togethers through the years. Without a doubt Courtney is the definition of sweet. She is so nice and she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  

I was SO ecstatic when Courtney asked me to style her hair for her wedding! Courtney has beautiful hair. Since her hair is long, I set her hair with pin-curls for most of the day. This insured that her gorgeous style would last all night!

Not only do I love styling brides, but the time that is spent getting everyone ready is always a blast. Everyone is excited about the festivities of the day, and the bridesmaids for this wedding made the day even more fun!

Chad and I had a great time at Courtney and Kevin's wedding. Anytime I style hair for a wedding the next few days are filled with anticipation, waiting for the photographer to post pictures. Since http://www.brandyburridge.com/ (my super talented friend) captured the shots, I knew they would capture the beauty of the day!! (I stalk her blog daily anyway to check out all of her breathtakingly creative photography...lol)

This was the last wedding for hairbyjb for the summer. In just a few weeks I will be bringing my baby girl into the world. I feel that this wedding was the perfect way to end the season. Courtney was an absolutely radiant bride! I wish the Franklin's all of life's happiness for many, many years to come!

 Hailie Ruth Heinrich

About a week after I blogged about my new hair style and about the amazingly beautiful brides I had for the upcoming year, Chad and I found out we were expecting our first baby!! The weeks that followed were somewhat of a blur... morning sickness, midday sickness, nighttime sickness made for just work and sleep for the Mommy to be. The first part of the year was filled with a joyous sick feeling, and MANY beautiful brides!

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE to rock the "poof" on my own hair and on other lovely ladies I style! Carly had a "poof" in the front of her hair, and a messy cluster of buns in the back. For the reception, she traded her veil for a flower in the back. I ugly cried off and on the whole time, she was breath taking! What a beautiful day!

 Alison and I felt like we'd known each other for a very long time. I adore her awesome personality and style. She chose to change her style for the reception... so beautifully dramatic! She was so pretty and it was so wonderful to share in the excitement as she married her man :).

Kat, my first destination wedding...in Destin, Florida! I absolutely LOVE the way she wore her veil low in the back of her up do! It was so elegant and went perfectly with her uniformed groom :).

Happy Tuesday and 2010!

Happy New Year Friends :) I woke up this morning super early to get some things done before I go into the salon. I have to say I'm super happy. Yes, super happy at 5:30 am. The reason why I have this glow about me at such an early hour is: I REALLY LOVE my job!! I just answered some emails, pushed my ghetto little computer chair back, and thought to myself..... "I love this!!" Then, I thought of the fact that if I love my job so much, I NEED to show some love to my sweet little blog.

It's my mission to blog ALOT in 2010. About all things hair, and of course all the lovely Brides I have scheduled for this first full year of hairbyjb.com! Buckle up your seatbelt my blog reading friends... I have some amazingly beautiful things to share with you this year!! Make sure you check in with Brandyburridge.com also. We will be working on a lot of the same weddings in 2010!

As I start off this Tuesday morning and the New Year with an extra pep in my step, I want to also share with you that I have changed my style. I've been completely over my long locks for a while now and last week, I made the choice to cut my hair short! It was invigorating! Not having to straighten so much hair makes my day consist of an extra 30 more minutes to enjoy other things :)
